I was sitting at the private, poised, and pin-drop-silence room of one of the Fortune 100 company\u2019s Chairman. This is not 2 decades ago in London but 2 weeks ago in India.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I was invited graciously on turn of some events which some may call a stroke of luck. However, I saw\u202fthe culmination of ten thousand conscious decisions made over the course of a decade\u202fshowing up for me.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While I was waiting for him, it occurred to me that the mirror of the universe shows exactly as you want to be only that it takes time to reflect the want in reality. It\u2019s a slow mirror but a mirror you can\u2019t argue with, at all.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This mirror is a perfect culmination of all your thoughts, actions and emotions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyhow, the chairman shows up in his grace of being 60+ age-wise but quite younger in valour and humour too\u2026 he expressed his gracious gratitude for me and expressed how much he admired the body of my work being so in-depth, extensive, and ubiquitously essential. Hearing him saying all with his eyes piercing in mine, I was feeling his grace of authenticity.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We sat and he said<\/span>,<\/span><\/i> \u201cI have asked you to come and help me for a specific purpose\u201d.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I was listening with utmost awareness despite his humour turning to rather serious gesture in a moment.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, I want to rewrite the identity we are owning at the moment.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I asked him to tell me more about this and where he is leading me to follow.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cI wish to create a transformed family for a much larger opportunity and challenge I foresee at the bay!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t give him the joy of pausing for discussion instead I looked right in his eyes wanting him to pour more of his worry and ecstasy should what he is looking for is resolved.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He mentioned few more things and I realised that it is getting harder for him to speak his heart out for the matters of family are rather always difficult to express.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I gave him time. It didn\u2019t work.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I asked him them point blank, \u201cDo you believe I could be of help from what you heard about me and my work?\u201d\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: \u201cYes, I have a fair idea from your books that you have what it takes.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I said, \u201cThank you. Then let me take the lead here for a bit until it is yours to carry. Works?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cAbsolutely and most appreciated.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I asked him, \u201cBefore discussing anything of distant future that you want, desire or even fear enough to reach, what is crucial is to know is where exactly you and your family stand in truth today? Until, we step in this truth, we won\u2019t be able to figure the heart of the matter and why it is so important for you to drive towards that future for family?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cHm..\u201d and added \u201cWell, that makes sense. But, I think the decision I am to take is hard and I need maybe time for taking it.\u201d\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I asked \u201cOkay, what you think you will be the gain of waiting?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cI don\u2019t know maybe courage..\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I said, \u201cWell, in that case, will you be willing to wait until both of our afterlife!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He exclaimed, \u201cHuh!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I said, \u201cSee, it\u2019s dead simple. You wait for courage for taking the decision is like you waiting for a child to enter your marriage without having made love to your beloved!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He brought back that smile and humour as the beginning, chuckled and asked, \u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I said, <\/span>\u201cWell,\u202fthe trick is you ought to decide and only with the decision comes your courage\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He stood up from his chair looking for mental space to process and he turned in few moments towards me and said \u201cSure, let\u2019s do that.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I said, \u201cGreat, let\u2019s keep this next time around when we meet as I want you to be absolutely sure if you want to be doing that. What I can assure you is your matters of hearts when placed in honesty will help me to help you or else we will waste each others time and more so hopes for getting the matter resolved.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cLet my secretary get back to you for week after next.\u201d and we concluded the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, why stepping in the truth is critical? What happens when you step in your own truths? Why should you bother?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you ask my non-sugar coated version then we all are caged and crave uselessly for our freedom when the door for freedom is always there for you to open. Let me explain.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The freedom you always knew you want is ever since within your reach. Will always be in your reach. The only thing that is needed is this one thing – Are you willing to step in your truth that will make you run towards your freedom or whatever that you are after.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You must ask yourself – what is the truth in this situation that I am in? And, encourage yourself to step in the identified truth. Once you do, you have already decided to gain whatever the truth unlocks and ushers on you.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Know your truths.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hire a distinguished consultant who could help you with it and once done help you plan actions to bring result of that desired reality you want to create. Or else, live behind the door and let time go.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By the way, it is not smart to think that wasting time behind the closed doors is wrong. <\/span>It is not wasting time as much as wasting your possibility, potential, and opportunity to create what you are meant to.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This can be done overnight (opening the door) and the rest is the result of meticulously planned action and skilled team work.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Decide for instituting your family if you want to have prosperity, unity, identity, love, and harmony to perpetuate.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Step in your truths.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have seen family businesses spend years and even decades to step in their truths. These decades aren\u2019t supposed to be for hiding yourself but for progressing in fullness and richness of who you are and what you are meant to be.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
